Meet Pastor Anthony Dixon II.

Pastor Anthony Angelo Dixon II is the pastor of Saint Peter AME Church in Fort Valley, Georgia. He was formally the pastor of the Greater Saint Peter in Jonesboro and has been in ministry for more than 24 years. The son of Sheila Wells, a native of Chicago and an Army veteran, Pastor Dixon earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and a Pastoral of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC). Pastor Dixon is well underway with his Doctorate of Ministry as well.

Pastor Dixon is a full-time educator and part-time police officer with over 26 years dedicated to law enforcement. As a preacher, educator, lecturer and law enforcement officer, he is recognized on the local and global scale as an innovative thinker that consistently explores innovative ways to reach the unsaved by using effective spiritual, political, and socioeconomic empowerment strategies to reach the goal of the gospel. Pastor Dixon is married to First Lady Melissa Dixon and together they have six children and four grandchildren.
